Children up to 16 years of age whose certification of disability indicates the necessity of constant or long-term care or assistance of another person due to his/her significantly reduced capability of unassisted living or the necessity of constant, everyday co - participation of a child’s carer in the process of his/her treatment, rehabilitation and education + that carer certification by the County’s Disability Evaluation Board attesting to a child’s, up to 16 years of age, disability
Persons who have turned 70 identity card
Persons with complete inability to work or function self-dependently or with a considerable degree of disablement + an accompanying person while on a journey disablement certification or a certificate by a competent medical board + identity card
Persons with complete inability to work and function self-dependently or complete inability to work – duly certified, as well as persons with diagnosed and certified severe or moderate degree of disability resulting from sight organ disease + their carer disablement certification or a certificate by a competent medical board + identity card
Persons with partial inability to work, duly certified, or a mild degree of disability due to sight organ disease disablement certification or a certificate by a competent medical board + identity card
Service-disabled veterans and military invalids - I group of disablement, duly certified, and their carers relevant disablement card or a certificate by a competent medical board + identity card
Honorary citizens of the Town of Oświęcim as well as its Districts – parties to Municipal Agreement: Oświęcim, Brzeszcze, Chełmek and Libiąż relevant card
Once - persecuted persons who are invalids and their carers persecuted person card

Half – fares

Old-age pensioners who have turned:
60 – women
65 – men
social Insurance Institution (ZUS) card + identity card
Persons with complete inability to work or a moderate degree of disability (previously – II group of invalids) disabled person card or a certificate by a competent medical board + identity card
Persons with the unemployed status entitling to seasonal ticket issued in the person’s name for all lines (with TS symbol), valid every day except for Sundays and Bank Holidays. 50% discount valid unemployed person card issued by the County’s Employment Centre +identification document

Note:

The following are entitled to reduced fares on the basis of holding seasonal tickets: kindergarten children, primary, secondary and postsecondary school students.

 

INFORMATION ON FREE - OF - CHARGE  JOURNEYS ON MUNICIPAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR DISABLED CHILDREN UP TO 16 YEARS OF AGE WITH A CARER

Disabled children up to 16 years of age whose disablement certifications issued by the County’s Disability Evaluation Board indicate:

1)  the necessity of constant or long-term care or assistance of another person due to his/her significantly reduced capability of unassisted living, or

2) the necessity of constant co - participation of a child’s carer in the process of his/her treatment, rehabilitation and education,

are entitled to a free of charge journey together with a carer.

Presentation of a certificate issued by the County’s Disability Evaluation Board which attests to a child’s, up to 16 years of age, disability entitles such a child to free-of-charge journey.

Legal grounds: paragraph1, point 3 of the Resolution XVI/311/11 of the Town Council of Oświęcim of December 28, 2011 on discounts and free fares on public transport.
